[Bug 1910849] [NEW] Chromium Plugin does not work at all

2021-01-09 Thread Rudy Vissers
Public bug reported:

Hi,

I can search bookmarks into Chromium (entering a string into the bar).

If I use the same search string into Synapse, nothing is displayed.

I have checked that the plugin is enabled.
I have even restarted Synapse and Ubuntu.

rudy@nbu130-rudy:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS
Release:20.04

synapse 0.2.99.4-2

Thanks in advance,

As soons as SoapUI was started the application freezes continually...

Since I downgraded to 5.3.0-45-generic, the hangings disappeared.
As it was said previously until the problem is fixed let's continue to work
with the version 5.3.0-45.

I must say it is a serious problem... Intellij, SoapUI, ... hanging
continually for a few seconds... For a professional environment, it is
impossible to work...

[Bug 1571199] Re: vlc broken with latest libupnp

2019-08-03 Thread Rudy Vissers
On a 16.04 LTS I managed to render Synology videos on the Google Chromecast.
You must use a VLC 3 to render the videos to Chromecast but unfortunately you
cannot browse the network (upnp).
sudo dpkg -i libupnp6_1.6.19+git20160116-1_amd64.deb
This will enable VLC 2 to browse the network.
As soon as you located the video you want to play then RC the video and a click
on 'information' and a popup is displayed. Then below the URL of the video is
displayed like http://192.168.0.25:50002/v/NDLNA/1.avi.
You can open this URL from VLC 3 and render to Chromecast.

[Bug 778627] Re: In natty, bash completion now quotes shell variable references rather than expanding them

2012-07-10 Thread Rudy Vissers
Please... Using the tab is much important for the
developers/administrators. We can't remove the backslash every time we
use the tab ! It is a bug that can't be in a supported version ! (12.0.4
LTS). It is the kind of things that makes you hate an environment !
Because we use the tab ALL THE TIME !

[Bug 993432] Re: remmina RDP window jumps workspaces, Super / Windows key is always active

2012-06-04 Thread Rudy Vissers
I have exactly the same problem :

4) What happened instead: the Windows 7 desktop jumps to another
workspace at random and the Super / Windows key is stuck in the on
position.

THAT PREVENTS ME TO USE REMMINA.
I can understand that you don't have the time to correct all the problems but
would you be kind at least to give us a workaround ?

Thanks in advance,

-Rudy-
