[Bug 1172975] [NEW] Unable to open dash when fullscreen window has focus
Public bug reported: I have asked about this on askubuntu. http://askubuntu.com/questions/285478/how-do-i-open-the-dash-when-a -fullscreen-application-has-the-focus-12-10-13-04 When I press the windows key the dash normally opens. When I press it when a fullscreen window has the focus, it doesn't seem to do anything. I am expecting the dash to open when I press the windows key. I have seen this problem in 12.10 and 13.04 with Unity3D. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: 12.10 13.04 bot-comment ** Tags added: 12.10 ** Tags added: 13.04 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1172975 Title: Unable to open dash when fullscreen window has focus To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1172975/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Hello, Joseph. I was able to test the latest kernel that was built for i386, which was on Oct 26: 3.1.0-999-generic #201110260408 SMP Wed Oct 26 08:16:44 UTC 2011 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux Any more recent builds in that mainline directory were only there for amd64. [Bug 886636] Re: Samsung N120 brightness keys toggle brightness between alternating low and high levels
Hello, Joseph. Thank you for the attention to my bug report. In the previous version, Natty, the brightness keys did not work on the Samsung N120, and I did not use something like xbacklight to set it myself (it was always at full brightness). In short, I'm not sure if it affected the previous version. I will try to investigate if the bug exists upstream over the next couple of days. - Ryan -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/886636 Title: Samsung N120 brightness keys toggle brightness between alternating low and high levels To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/886636/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
