[Bug 875220] Re: Invalid UTF-8 on painel clock
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 874755 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/874755 Hi! I met similar problem... When I installed ubuntu 11.10 it has system encoding UTF-8 (I get it after executing 'locale' command). After setting up clock to show a weekday and day of month everything worked fine (my system language is Russian so I saw translated into Russian name of weekday and month in cyrillic characters). Then I deside to change system encoding to CP1251 (I need it for work). I executed 2 commands: locale-gen ru_RU.CP1251 update-locale LANG=ru_RU.CP1251 LC_ALL=ru_RU.CP1251 After that my clock with week day and name of month become a string [Invalid Utf-8] and I can't find way to fix it. Simpe clock without any letters (just 13:33) shown normally -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/875220 Title: Invalid UTF-8 on painel clock To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/875220/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
