[Bug 1928124] [NEW] Mono fonts don't have displayed in Konsole appearance settings
Public bug reported: Synopsis: 1- Install "Syne Mono" using the app. 2- Open KDE Konsole. 3- From Settings > Edit Current Profile > Appearance Tab. 4- Click on Fonts Choose button. 5- Look at Font list in the "Select Font dialogue" 6- The font "Syne Mono" is not listed there. I have to check the box labeled: "Show all fonts" to get "Syne Mono" listed. Conclusion: There is an installation issue that prevents the system from recognize the new installed font as Mono font, because any recognized Mono font should be listed in step 5. In that list, Microsoft Courier New is listed there which I had installed using "sudo apt install ttf-mscorefonts-installer" ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 20.04 Package: typecatcher 0.3-1.1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.8.0-50.56~20.04.1-generic 5.8.18 Uname: Linux 5.8.0-50-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.11-0ubuntu27.17 Architecture: amd64 CasperMD5CheckResult: skip CurrentDesktop: KDE Date: Tue May 11 19:43:31 2021 InstallationDate: Installed on 2021-05-04 (6 days ago) InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 20.04.2.0 LTS "Focal Fossa" - Release amd64 (20210209.1) PackageArchitecture: all SourcePackage: typecatcher UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: typecatcher (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug focal -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1928124 Title: Mono fonts don't have displayed in Konsole appearance settings To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/typecatcher/+bug/1928124/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
