libmono-cairo2.0-cil

libmono2.0-cil

Which of the libraries fixed the problem I do not know, but it works now.
That probably means that one of Muine's dependencies is not listed in the

[Bug 119303] Muine crashes when opening the song or album selector

2007-06-08 Thread Samuel Abels
Public bug reported:

1. Open Muine
2. Open the song or album selector, e.g. by pressing A.
3. The dialog appears for less than a second without any songs/albums in it.
4. It crashes.

I tried the following:
$ muine 21 2 muine.dbg.log

The resulting log is appended. I am not sure if this is purely a Muine issue
because some of the errors look a lot like incompatibility with Mono's Gtk#.
I also tried deleting ~/gnome2/muine, but this did not change the behavior.
Version info:

When xserver-xorg-video-intel is installed the X server still appears to start

I should probably mention that I am using DVI output (via ADD2 card), so
possibly the driver incorrectly selects VGA output, but I have no way to test
this. Is there a way to force the driver to use the DVI port?

[Bug 99528] Mouse unusably slow when there is a lot of IO

2007-03-31 Thread Samuel Abels
Public bug reported:

Whenever my PC has a lot of network IO (e.g. when downloading something from
the web, copying backups over ssh, ...) the mouse pointer becomes extremely
slow and trails behind up to three or more seconds. Yet, most of my movements
are buffered, so they still happen, but only with a delay.
At the same time, everything else, including keyboard, audio, and even resource
intensive tasks like 3D graphics, is still handled quickly and is perfectly
responsive.

This happens so often that even every day tasks become difficult to
accomplish. The PC has brand new hardware (Core 2 Duo 6600, Gigabit
Ethernet, etc.) and should definitely be fast enough to handle all tasks
at once.

[Bug 99114] System reboots on heavy 3D activity (i810 + Intel 82G965 + Compiz)

2007-03-30 Thread Samuel Abels
Public bug reported:

Whenever there is a lot of 3d activity on the screen, such as a 3d screensaver,
a 3d game, or the rotating cube in compiz, the system immediately reboots. The
syslog does not contain any error message.
I am using the latest versions from Apt:

xorg 1:7.2-0ubuntu9
compiz 1:0.3.6-1ubuntu10
xserver-xorg-video-i810 2:1.7.4-0ubuntu1

Attaching Xorg.0.log, xorg.conf, and the output of lspci.

2007-03-30 Thread Samuel Abels

2007-03-30 Thread Samuel Abels
Btw., I also tried playing with the 915resolution tool, but this only
*reduced* the screen resolution even further (to 640x680).

[Bug 99114] Re: System reboots on heavy 3D activity (i810 + Intel 82G965 + Compiz)

2007-03-30 Thread Samuel Abels
Additional notes:

- The problem also happens when compiz is not used.

- The i810 driver was not automatically recognized, I added it to
xorg.conf manually. By default, the generic vesa driver was used.

- As can be seen in the Xorg.0.log, the driver fell back to 1600x1200
though 1920x1200 is configured. I have opened bug #99119 for this.
