[Bug 1437764] [NEW] ttf-mscorefonts-installer doesn't work from Ubuntu Software Center because of EULA

2015-03-28 Thread Sb73542-gmail
Public bug reported:

Hello, on Vivid 15.04 Beta 2, the package ttf-mscorefonts-installer
installs from the Ubuntu Software Center but doesn't actually download
and install the proprietary fonts. The reason appears to be that the
package requires first agreeing to an EULA before downloading the fonts,
and apparently the Software Center can't handle that. Please make the
Software Center pop up a GUI to accept the EULA.

** Affects: msttcorefonts (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

** Package changed: openssh (Ubuntu) = msttcorefonts (Ubuntu)

[Bug 1409591] [NEW] Unity screensaver doesn't fade to black on fullscreen flash videos

2015-01-11 Thread Sb73542-gmail
Public bug reported:

Hi there,

On a fresh install of Ubuntu 14.10 on an Acer 4810T laptop with Intel
graphics, the screensaver doesn't fade to black when fullscreen flash
videos are running. When such videos are running non-fullscreen, or when
doing anything else, the fade-to-black works as expected. The fade-to-
black is extremely important and useful for me, since it alerts me that
the screen is about to go to sleep and gives me a chance to move the
mouse and wake it up.

Thanks.

Cannot mount media in DVD rom drive, Acer Timeline 4810T. Drive is detected,
and media only detected if placed in the drive when machine suspended. Even
then DVD movies (purchased) are not recognised - error message that media is
unknown. Audio cd's sometimes play. When trying to unmount, I am asked for my
password - message given that another user mounted the media.
