[Bug 238683] Re: Ugly step in shadow
Sorry. A friend of mine is still having the problem on Arch (same package versions). Seems to be dependend on the hardware platform. ** Changed in: emerald (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Committed = Confirmed -- Ugly step in shadow https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/238683 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 238683] Re: Ugly step in shadow
Just stumbled upon my old bug report;) Bug seems to be fixed in Emerald 0.8.4 with Compiz 0.8.4 running on Arch Linux (at least fixed upstream...). If this is not fixed on Ubuntu, please reopen! ** Changed in: emerald (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed = Invalid ** Changed in: emerald (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid = Fix Released -- Ugly step in shadow https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/238683 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 291728] [NEW] Evolution downloads mails, but does not display them
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution Hi there! Just some days ago, evolution started doing weird things with my mails. Normally I'm getting about 200 mails a day, including lots of lists of Ubuntu and Openmoko. Unfortunately most mails wont be displayed anymore. Evolution is downloading them from my GMX-Pop-Account, saves them in the right place (on disk), removes them on the GMX-server, but the message will not show up in the evolution-GUI. I just remove all my filtering-settings, disabled bogofilter, moved my whole mails from ~/.evolution to ~/.evolution2 to remove all my mails and have a plain evolution again, reassigned to some lists - nothing worked. There is something crazy: Some mails will show up: Lots of Spam-stuff comes in, and some other mails will arrive correctly, too. I attached my ~/.evolution/mail/local/Inbox with two mails: The first one is from a mailinglist and is not displayed, the second one is a test from the same account, wich shows up. I'm running Intrepid with Evolution 2.24.1, but the same happened three days before with Hardy. cheers Sebastian Billaudelle ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Evolution downloads mails, but does not display them https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291728 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 238683] [NEW] Ugly step in shadow
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: emerald Hi there! As you can see on the following screenshot, emerald draws an ugly step when drawing the shadow. http://cream-project.org/data/bug.jpg Here is the theme: http://cream-project.org/data/art/creamlooks-0.0.3-dent.emerald I'm using Hardy with emerald-0.7.2-0ubuntu2 and compiz-1:0.7.4-0ubuntu7... cheers Sebastian ** Affects: emerald (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Ugly step in shadow https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/238683 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 234040] [NEW] Error extracting tar.bz2
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: file-roller Hi there! This is something really crazy: When I try to extract the following achive (http://cream-project.org/data/releases/cream-0.0.3-draft.tar.bz2), I get some messages like: tar: cream-0.0.3/modules/snapshot/creamlib/widgets.py: Kann open nicht ausführen: Not a directory tar: cream-0.0.3/modules/snapshot/creamlib/config.py: Kann open nicht ausführen: Not a directory tar: cream-0.0.3/modules/snapshot/creamlib/panel.py: Kann open nicht ausführen: Not a directory tar: cream-0.0.3/modules/snapshot/creamlib/cli.py: Kann open nicht ausführen: Not a directory tar: cream-0.0.3/modules/snapshot/creamlib/ipc.py: Kann open nicht ausführen: Not a directory But that's clear! I know that a *.py file is not a directory;-) And then file-roller sometimes extracts only dirs, but no other files... Sorry for that really bad description, but this is something really crazy! Sebastian P. S.: I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 with file-roller 2.22.2-0ubuntu1 ** Affects: file-roller (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Error extracting tar.bz2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/234040 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 234040] Re: Error extracting tar.bz2
Yes, there are recursive and never ending links... But why doesn't file-roller extract any files? tar is doing that very well... I just tried the same archive as a tar.gz: No error messages, but file-roller doesn't extract any files again! -- Error extracting tar.bz2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/234040 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
