[Bug 443296] Re: Multiple extraction with Xarchiver not working
This bug is reproducible, just grab a fresh install, open package manager and install xarchiver. After installing it, select multiple files in thunar and select option Extract Here a pop-up should come up letting you choose xarchiver or file-roller (default archive manager), select xarchiver and press ok. I managed to change the fonts in notify-osd to the one's i use by installing gconf-editor and editing GNOME's default font and DPI settings. My XFCE settings are Sans 8 DPI 73, while the gnome settings were set to Sans 10 and DPI 96, changing this to my XFCE settings solved my probelm and notify-osd bubbles now have a correct font size. Now, notify-osd should check for XFCE settings so it is compatible iwth XFCE or XFCE should change GNOME settings to be compatible with notify osd, i would think of the first one, cause i don't think XFCE is willing to be dependant on GNOME configurations, after all they're trying to make a different desktop and they already have enough GNOME dependencies i believe. This should be definitely taken as a bug, at leat for Xubuntu users. -- (karmic) notify-osd fonts https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/394344 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 394344] Re: (karmic) notify-osd fonts
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 335383 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/335383 Yes, i know that, i will post a bug in notify-osd then. This should not be so difficult to fix, just make notify-osd check XFCE's settings. -- (karmic) notify-osd fonts https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/394344 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
