[Bug 443296] Re: Multiple extraction with Xarchiver not working

2010-05-18 Thread Sebastian Schepens
This bug is reproducible, just grab a fresh install, open package
manager and install xarchiver. After installing it, select multiple
files in thunar and select option Extract Here a pop-up should come up
letting you choose xarchiver or file-roller (default archive manager),
select xarchiver and press ok. You should notice that only the first of
the selected files is extracted.

[Bug 449783] [NEW] [Xubuntu Karmic] Pulseaudio doesn't save volumes when rebooting

2009-10-12 Thread Sebastian Schepens
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

The title is self-explaining, after installing pulseaudio in xubuntu karmic and
using the gnome-volume-control-applet to manage the volume, every time I reboot
the computer, the sound resets to being muted and 0%. If i change the volume,
say 50%, and log out and in again, the sound stays in 50%, but if I reboot the
computer, pulseaudio sets the sound to muted and 0%.
I don't know if it has something to do, but researching in the man pages y
found about the configuration files, and realised that under ~/.pulse the
aren't any of the configuration files.

2009-10-12 Thread Sebastian Schepens
This is definitely not working even with that update, i tried deleting
~/.pulse adn then i set the volume to 50%, and reboot the system, after
the reboot the system starts with 17% volume, not 50 so then i reboot it
again without changing anything and after the second reboot, the volume
is muted and 0%.

[Bug 394344] [NEW] (karmic) notify-osd fonts

2009-07-01 Thread Sebastian Schepens
Public bug reported:

Notify-osd fonts in Xubuntu should use Xfce's default fonts. I like
using small fonts, and notfy-osd fonts are really huge, they should
automatically adapt or allowed to be customized

[Bug 335383] Re: Consider ability to change libnotify-osd font size?

2009-07-01 Thread Sebastian Schepens
Is it THAT difficult to make notify-osd's fonts configurable?
I'm not shure about this, but i'm using xubuntu karmic and notify-osd doesn't
seem to use xfce's fonts, i have sans 8 with DPI 73 and notify-osd's fonts are
MUCH larger than my application fonts.

[Bug 394344] Re: (karmic) notify-osd fonts

2009-07-01 Thread Sebastian Schepens
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 335383 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/335383

I believe this bug is not a duplicate, what i reported is that after changin
fonts in XFCE, the fonts in notify-osd reamined the same.
I managed to change the fonts in notify-osd to the one's i use by installing
gconf-editor and editing GNOME's default font and DPI settings.
My XFCE settings are Sans 8 DPI 73, while the gnome settings were set to Sans
10 and DPI 96, changing this to my XFCE settings solved my probelm and
notify-osd bubbles now have a correct font size.
Now, notify-osd should check for XFCE settings so it is compatible iwth XFCE or
XFCE should change GNOME settings to be compatible with notify osd, i would
think of the first one, cause i don't think XFCE is willing to be dependant on
GNOME configurations, after all they're trying to make a different desktop and
they already have enough GNOME dependencies i believe.
This should be definitely taken as a bug, at leat for Xubuntu users.

Yes, i know that, i will post a bug in notify-osd then. This should not
be so difficult to fix, just make notify-osd check XFCE's settings.
