Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures. At a minimum, we need: 1. The specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem. 2. The behavior you expected. 3. The behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible). Please also ensure that you include the release and flavour of Ubuntu that you are using. Thank you for your bug report. The title isn't specific enough to really act on it. The search is based on keywords from the corresponding .desktop. In 22.04 typing 'screen' or 'reader' lists the accessibility panel but indeed 'screen reader' doesn't. That's fixed in 24.04 though. The issue is probably too minor to be fixed in 22.04, especially that the current technical design means that a change in the keywords would invalidate existing translations (because the list of keywords is considered as one string and the string would be changing to add the new value) ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2067572 Title: Many settings missing from search To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/2067572/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Thank you! ** Project changed: ubuntu-desktop-provision => gnome-shell (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2065078 Title: can’t disable Active Screen Edges To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2065078/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 2063221] Re: Drop libglib2.0-0 transitional package
I've tested 2.80.0-6ubuntu3 on a noble system, the upgrade went as expected and the desktop is still working properly. I still had libglib2.0-0 installed and it got removed when installing the new version rmadison also confirmed the libglib2.0-0 binary isn't published in noble-proposed ** Tags removed: verification-needed verification-needed-noble ** Tags added: verification-done verification-done-noble -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2063221 Title: Drop libglib2.0-0 transitional package To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glib2.0/+bug/2063221/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1892456] Re: [MIR] malcontent
Since the original MIR request malcontent got its library split in a backend and an UI part. gnome-control-center would Depends on libmalcontent-0-0 which doesn't Depends on libflatpak (libmalcontent-ui-1-1 is the one which includes that Depends). The request then is to promote only the libmalcontent-0-0 and gir1.2-malcontent-0 binaries. Since the initial review got a +1 from MIR and security teams but the promoted got blocked on universe Depends which aren't part of the request anymore can we consider the package good to promote after subcribing desktop-packages? ** Description changed: Availability In Universe, builds for all architectures and in sync with Debian.
