[Bug 1876991] [NEW] Touchpad started appearing both as a touchpad and as a mouse input devices after upgrade to 20.04
Public bug reported: It was working perfectly on 18.04 with 5.3 kernel but after upgrade to 20.04 it's becoming disabled because there is a "mouse" attached which is the same touchpad detected incorrectly, xinput --list showing both ⎜ ↳ MSFT0001:00 06CB:7E7E Mouse id=11 [slave pointer (2)] ⎜ ↳ MSFT0001:00 06CB:7E7E Touchpadid=12 [slave pointer (2)] The first line was definitely not present before, I know it because I use it when in openbox session. [Bug 1722397] [NEW] idle doesn't run in 17.10
Public bug reported: In 17.10 the idle package (v. 3.6.3-0ubuntu1) depends on Python 3.6. But the /usr/bin/idle script contains the code that doesn't work in Python 3.6. $ idle Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/idle", line 3, in from idlelib.PyShell import main ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'idlelib.PyShell' In Python 3.6 the PyShell module was renamed to pyshell (see https://bugs.python.org/issue24225). /usr/bin/idle-python3.6 from the idle-python3.6 package works correctly. Maybe make /usr/bin/idle just a link to /usr/bin/idle-python3.6? If you want /usr/bin/idle always run the default python3 and don't depent of future changes in the idlelib Python package, you can make it a shell script: #! /bin/sh exec /usr/bin/python3 -m idlelib ** Affects: python3-defaults (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1722397 Title: idle doesn't run in 17.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python3-defaults/+bug/1722397/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1383470] Re: scp does not work (fails at 'Sending command scp -v -t')
I've found a clue. It's a server with limited bandwidth and it's currently using all of it. Not sure how the limit works, but I'm sure that's the problem: something is placing nginx traffic above scp traffic and the latter waits for hours. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1383470 Title: scp does not work (fails at 'Sending command scp -v -t') To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openssh/+bug/1383470/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1383470] Re: scp does not work (fails at 'Sending command scp -v -t')
It's still an issue because there is some network failure that is not timeouted correctly. But I cannot provide steps to reproduce it because I don't yet know how to identify what exactly is wrong.
