Public bug reported: Binary package hint: initramfs-tools ramzswap is unusable with natty. the control tool rzscontrol is using ioctl to control the kernel module, which doesn't even include support for ioctl (yet?). nevertheless the tool is used by initramfs. all ramzswaps have a fixed size of 25 % of main memory and don't get initialized, which causes the udev rule not being able to activate it for swap. either fix the kernel module so it supports the ioctls, or change the way ramzswap is used by initramfs ** Affects: initramfs-tools (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/786599 Title: compcache / ramzswap unusable -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
