I think panels are having a lot of problems with absolute/relative edges
with external monitors

Look what happens when I click on the menu widget (this is my external
monitor)... the menu should pop up right above the panel as usual (and
this correctly happens when I just use the main screen of my laptop)
but, instead, it pops a lot higher than expected without reasons

I have the same exact problem with kde5 with manjaro, dual monitor.
Never had something similar while using kde4...

Considering is open since more than 2years maybe it's time someone set a
higher priority on this.
