[Bug 1533251] Re: Ubuntu phone / Aquaris E5: no ringtones when receiving calls, no sound when receiving messages; no sound on speakers

2016-03-19 Thread Silvio-frischi
I think I have the same but though my phone's sound works just
occasionally sometimes garbled.

Whenever there is no jack plugged in and I start playing something dmesg prints
[ 416.722213] lipeng debug|[Sound_Speaker_Turnon] Speaker_Volume: 0

I also appended a version of 'pacmd info' when it's working and when
it's not working, but I can't see a significant difference. So I think
the problem is lower.

just stops doing anything during the mount command (mount -t btrfs
/dev/... /root). kernel panic??? But there is nothing printed on the
screen except the three lines that appear anyway.

My btrfs is on an encrypted luks, but that part works fine.

[Bug 1070039] Re: PAM Authentication Misconfigured

2013-11-02 Thread Silvio-frischi
I got the git version to work but only if i run it as root. When using a
dedicated user (radicale) the
python function pam.authenticate(user, password) returns wrong even if the
password is correct. I have no idea why this happens.

[Bug 779212] Re: x server crashes on Natty. Kernel 2.6.38-8

2011-05-10 Thread Silvio-frischi
when running firefox in debug mode it turns out firefox itself doesn't
even crash it just outputs

firefox-bin: Fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) on X server
:0

and exits

also I am running Natty and I can still reproduce this bug not on
facebook (i don't have facebook) but just now when desabling extensions
for example.

[Bug 779212] Re: x server crashes on Natty. Kernel 2.6.38-8

2011-05-10 Thread Silvio-frischi
There are so many bugs about this issue i can't believe it #539772
#546490 #551754 #677694 #777345 just to name a few. I am unsure where to
post so i just post on the newest. I also have this issue. Firefox
crashes X and it is well possible that it is caused by firefox-
extensions. I also read somewhere that it happens only after suspend
(also possible). I have appended Xorglog and xsession-errors

[Bug 727979] Re: Screen flicker approx. every 30 seconds

2011-03-26 Thread Silvio-frischi
I have the same problem on natty64 with VGA video projectors.

I tested it with two computers with two different drivers (xf86-video-ati,
xf86-video-nouveau).
I tested it with three different video projector.
I tested it with three different VGA cables.
I tested it with kernels 2.6.35, 2.6.37, 2.6.38
I tested it with libdrm(i.e. libkms) 2.4.21, 2.4.23 (remark here i didn't
reboot)

And it always flickered (with exception 3. projector see below).

Remark with two of three projectors I used addmode since the drivers
didn't recognize the native resolution of the beamer.

Everything always worked well if I used my old Gentoo (2.6.33 - but with
KMS,ati and with addmode)

With the 3. projector in natty it worked properly because it recognized the
native resolution. But if I
added an other resolution to it and changed to that it flickered again.

so it's possible It has some thing to do with --addmode

I think this worked on Maverik but I'm not sure since I didn't use --addmode
much
Did any of the others here use addmode?
