[Bug 243840] Re: Won't save option changes on exit

2008-07-04 Thread SmartyPants
I see I made another mistake when I submitted the bug. I am not running
Ubuntu, I'm running Windows Vista SP1

I did make a new user account and the problem still exists. Every time
I uncheck 'clear private data on exit', the next time I open firefox it
is checked again.

[Bug 243840] [NEW] Won't save option changes on exit

2008-06-28 Thread SmartyPants
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

When I installed exit I noticed it was clearing my private data on exit
(which I did not want). I went into my options and unchecked this.
Every time I close firefox it's checked again and clears my data. I
tried changing other details since then but it seems that no matter what
I do the options always come back.

** Affects: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
