I have the same problem on a fresh installation of Lucid, I use a laptop hp g7000. The internal microphone work fine, but when I try an external one in the mic jack input, the internal still working and the external doesn't. I tied to change the device but nothing seems to work. (Analog stereo duplex ; Analog stereo output ; Digital stereo (IEC958) output + analog stereo input ; Digital stereo duplex (IEC958) ; Analog stereo input )
