[Bug 1239520] [NEW] AR9462 Atheros packet loss with android hotspot
Public bug reported: I just got a dell xps 13 developer edition. unfortunately the wifi does not work well so I upgraded to ubuntu 13.04 but no luck. I installed http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.11.5-saucy and still doesnt work. Then I installed the 3.12 kernel http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.12-rc5-saucy/ still has high packet loss. I had the same issue and I had to boot from a CD, mount the filesystem and edit the fstab and comment out the usb entry. I have the same problem - no sound at all when trying all the different drivers in the Sound GUI.
