I have same issue here with same Asus laptop.
`kernel: DMI: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. VivoBook_ASUSLaptop X430FN_S430FN/X430FN, 
BIOS X430FN.308 05/28/2019`

It seems I have to step back to 19.10.
