[Bug 945582] Re: MythTV Status doesn't work with MythTV 0.25
Ah. Thanks Andrew for the quick reply. I tried the deb from quantal and installed it manually using dpkg. Works like a charm. Thank you very much for this. I hope the maintainers of the universe will add this update to their repository. Still four and a half years to go until next LTS. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/945582 Title: MythTV Status doesn't work with MythTV 0.25 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mythtv-status/+bug/945582/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 945582] Re: MythTV Status doesn't work with MythTV 0.25
Is there any information when 0.10.2-2 will be released? Will it be available through the official updates? Or do I have to add mythbuntu repository to update? If not through the official way, I would prefer a simple .deb package. [Bug 960227] Re: [System Product Name, Realtek ALC887-VD, Green Line Out, Rear] Choppy Sound playback
Here's some news on this issue: After trying around with many different settings in alsa-base.conf (options snd-hda-intel model=3stack-dig position_fix=3) - which had no effect at all - I upgraded manually to alsa-driver-1.0.25 which had no effect either. Problem persisted. So I took a look on alsamixer and found a new element: "Auto-Mute Mode". Setting this one to "Disabled" sound worked immediately fine on the back-panel. So this issue is solved by now for me, because I don't intent to use the front-panel jack for headphones. But there is definitely a problem with jack-sensing. Maybe it's related to this single mainboard-model. Cannot find out if anybody else has this problem with this board. Googling around doesn't give any satisfying results. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/960227 Title: [System Product Name, Realtek ALC887-VD, Green Line Out, Rear] Choppy Sound playback To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/960227/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 960227] [NEW] [System Product Name, Realtek ALC887-VD, Green Line Out, Rear] Choppy Sound playback
Public bug reported: Any speakers connected to the green back panel jack give extremely choppy playback. The test-sound playing during "ubuntu-bug" run sounds like morse-code. Sound is very well when (the same) speakers are connected to front audio panel. Booting to console without any pulseaudio, which means pure alsa- playback with aplay, gives the same effekt, choppy audio. Mainboard is an ASUS E35M1-M Pro. Passing options to snd-hda-intel module in alsa-base.conf like: options snd-hda-intel model=3stack position_fix=1 or similar didn't have any effect. Is it possible, that there is something like cable-detection going on? When there are no speakers and no microphones connected I noticed in the audio settings on the input tab, that the device-icon indicating microphone-front/back is flickering very quickly (twice a second, maybe more). [Bug 633567] Re: OO calc doesn't work correctly with database funktions
The Problem still persists. Is anybody able to reproduce this error on Lucid or Maverick? In the meantime I was able to reproduce this bug on a notebook with fresh installed and patched Lucid. -- OO calc doesn't work correctly with database funktions https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/633567 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 633567] [NEW] OO calc doesn't work correctly with database funktions
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org-calc Description:Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS Release:10.04 openoffice.org-calc: Installed: 1:3.2.0-7ubuntu4.1 Candidate: 1:3.2.0-7ubuntu4.1 Version table: *** 1:3.2.0-7ubuntu4.1 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-updates/main Packages 500 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-security/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:3.2.0-7ubuntu4 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages Hello, there seems to be a problem with calc using database funktions (e.g. =dget). The problem occurs, when using dget and as an option for the search criteria you give a cell, which itself contains a formula. I am shipping a small spreadsheet .ods which illustrates the problem. I tried the same spreadsheet with OO 3.2.1 for Windows, where the problem does not occur. Unfortunately I don't know if this problem is already fixed in Ubuntu's OO 3.2.1 which is shipped with Maverick.
