Actually I just installed the Numix Gtk theme - and now it works. Even with 1.5 vs 1.0 pixel scaling between the monitors. Well, I did a small blogpost on how to enable that gesture again - it works for me, but please - it might not be for the average user as it involves changing sourcecode and so on. For now I just removed libreoffice-gtk to get the old menus back. I have an Asus UX32VD with nvidia/intel hd4000 graphics, and I have tried several kernels from 3.5.x -> 3.6-rc1 (both on Ubuntu 12.04 and 12.10), and everytime I get a black wallpaper after I open the lid after suspend to ram. Just setting the wallpaper manually again will make it appear as usual, and no errors following that. Is this some compiz redraw missing on the "wallpaper" section of the desktop ? - reason is that using a "Unity 2d" session I cannot replicate the problem (use case: close lid -> suspend to ram (wait a few minutes) -> open lid -> resumes). It appears that the function 'supports_xinput2_devices' in rico's ppa checks for Xinput version 2.0 and 2.2. (in ./plugins/common/gsd-input-helper.c) The current quantal packages only enables Xinput2 support if it matches 2.0... I think it might be the '90_set_gmenus_xsettings.patch' that is causing the problems. I also have a thinkpad T61p which it hit by the same bug, but booting other operating systems (and older linux kernels) makes the wired ethernet work just fine. Under normal circumstances, putting in an '&' in the text would produce an accelerator key automatically. However this is not the case when QToolButton is used with setPixmap and setTextLabel (feel free to test that yourself). So I had to do a workaround which seem to work fine though. I think there's still an issue on feisty. I'm experiencing this very same once in every 2nd reboot or so. The knetworkmanager applet loads, but then disappears again. Restarting of knetworkmanager allows you to connect to networks again. Although I log out, and log in again it does not attempt to reconnect, but leaves me with no network connection ([ X]). Then I select my wireless, it connects and everything is fine. I have no main password on kdewallet, and have saved the network key for my wireless wpa2 network in the wallet.
