[Bug 1883206] Re: Persistent high CPU load (~80%)

2020-06-14 Thread Stefan Tjarks
Looks like it is related to an extension. Haven't had a problem since I
disabled all of them.
This bug can be closed. Once I identify the extension causing the CPU load I'll
report an issue on its github page.

[Bug 1883206] [NEW] Persistent high CPU load (~80%)

2020-06-11 Thread Stefan Tjarks
Public bug reported:

gnome shell has a persistent high CPI load that make using the PC
painful.

[Bug 446717] Re: [gm45] Acer 1410t Brightness Adjust with Compiz system freeze

2010-03-06 Thread Stefan Tjarks
The issue still exists for me with the kernel out of the PPA. System
freezes completely when trying to adjust brightness.

[Bug 425356] [NEW] date not yield correct if TZ env is set

2009-09-06 Thread Stefan Tjarks
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: coreutils

Description:Ubuntu karmic (development branch)
Release:9.10

Package: coreutils
Version: 7.4-2
PreDepends: libacl1 (>= 2.2.11-1), libattr1 (>= 2.4.41-1), libc6 (>= 2.7),
libselinux1 (>= 2.0.59)

System timezone: PDT

Issue:

The 'date' command yields the correct date if no TZ env is set.
$ date

Once TZ is set 'date' always returns UTC time
$ TZ=PDT date
Sun Sep  6 19:41:59 PDT 2009
$ TZ=NZST date
Sun Sep  6 19:41:59 NZST 2009
$ TZ=linux date
