[Bug 1721527] Re: Gigolo opens only first bookmark if multiple for the same server are defined

2022-03-15 Thread Steffen Hemer
I do not use it that much anymore but from a quick test I can say that
the behavior on my everyday focal install is still the same.

[Bug 1820816] Re: With gcc flag -Werror programs are not compiling using the lib

2021-09-23 Thread Steffen Hemer
Of course, the newer version pulled the fix (of my colleague) from
upstream. But this was definitively a topic of backporting it to 1.14
for bionic !!! Would have saved a lot of manual tweaking and confusion.

[Bug 1195208] Re: libopencv-dev pkgconfig include path info is wrong (missing suffix "2")

2021-05-25 Thread Steffen Hemer
This one is still valid for libopencv-dev 4.2.0+dfsg-5 in focal! Now
with multiarch path but still:

/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/pkgconfig/opencv4.pc:
 includedir_old=${prefix}/include/opencv4/opencv
 includedir_new=${prefix}/include/opencv4

But there is only
/usr/include/opencv4/opencv2
as an include folder

[Bug 1902692] [NEW] mercurial package does not break newer hgview

older installed version from pre 20.04. But it also prevents the install
of the flawlessly working package build from hgview upstream

[Bug 413415] Re: console-setup hangs under chroot debootstrap with a console login on ttyX

2019-04-29 Thread Steffen Hemer
Just ran across this bug because of a console-setup upgrade on a chroot-ed
Xenial (installed via debootstrap, exported via nfs for PXE boot, upgrades
always installed via chroot-ing on server). Whole upgrade process hangs at
"Preconfiguring packages ...".
Set "console-setup console-setup-linux keyboard-configuration" on hold for now.

[Bug 1727772] [NEW] Update to 2.1.1

2017-10-26 Thread Steffen Hemer
Public bug reported:

Just realised that although work at http://jung.sourceforge.net seems to
have stopped 7 years ago with version 2.0.1 which ever since is also the
state of this package, there is ongoing work at
https://github.com/jrtom/jung with version 2.1.1 from more than two
years ago.

This should be considered to be updated. I will have a look at our local
libjung package (containing the JAI classes) but I guess it is far less
effort for the package maintainers here/at debian to do so.

[Bug 848065] Re: system-config-printer cannot authenticate Windows Samba printer, while smbclient can (cli_init_creds)

2012-03-07 Thread Steffen Hemer
I noticed a that bug too. In my case the authentification is rejected when I
lgoin via the prompt and when trying to verify my login data in the login data
fields on adding the printer. But when use the Search ...
(Durchsuchen)-button with entered MYWORKGROUP/server/, it asks not just for the
username and the password but also for the workgroup and I can login and view
all the available printers there.
So it seems that the workgroup give in the smb://-line isn't used correctly on
login (it may use standard WORKGROUP instead).

Hopefully this may help.
