[Bug 448928] Re: [karmic] guidance-power-manager does not remember lid close settings
The problem is that parsing of the lid action setting does not work as intended. It expects a ValueError when invoking value.toInt() which instead returns 0 resulting a selection of "Nothing" on each restart of guidance-power-manager. ** Attachment added: "patch that fixes the problem" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/37992678/guidance-power-manager-lidaction.diff -- [karmic] guidance-power-manager does not remember lid close settings https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/448928 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 415200] [NEW] kde power devil fails to suspend if screensaver is active
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kpowersave I have configured kde System Settings > Power Management to suspend to ram when the lid is closed. That works as expected when the screen is not locked. Once I lock the screen closing the lid has no effect. I would expect a suspend to ram to happen. I have configured "Blank Screen" as my KDE screensaver. Suspending to ram while the screensaver was active worked before upgrading to karmic. kde-core: Installed: 5:48ubuntu1 Candidate: 5:48ubuntu1 Version table: *** 5:48ubuntu1 0 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: kpowersave (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- kde power devil fails to suspend if screensaver is active https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/415200 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
