Following today's updates (11 April 2013 about 4pm) banshee is suddenly
working again for me - no freezing right after startup. Don't know what
part of the updates may have affected it

Getting same
Banshee starts up then greys outas if some process is running
All 4 cpu's varying up to 100% usage
Have tried uninstalling completely a couple of times but still the same

Launcher flickers as mouse pointer crosses it and carries on until application 
starts
Dash flickers again as pointer hovers over it

Have Oneiric Beta 2. Installed CompizConfig Settings Manager from
Software Centre. Every time I start CCSM, a message appears that says
CCSM had a problem and closed unexpectedly yet it continues to work
