I find (thanks to Xenom on ubuntu-fr) that you can do the same thing as I want with the file : /sys/class/leds/asus\:mail/brightness but to do this you have to be root... which is annoying to use as a simple user... any solution/fix ? In fact I don't know if it was a bug or a rules problem. In mahjongg game there is only 4 tiles of each. And I find a game with 6 tiles... so it thought that there was a problem... but it's isn't very important. I'll check bugzilla to see if I could submit my problem. When I run those commands the behavior seems the same but now the applet don't show any changes (if the CPU is at 100% or at 46%, the icon don't change). I only see the changes with the command : cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep "cpu MHz" So it don't solve my problem... edit : I have removed and added again the applet and it now show the changes.
