[Bug 1777708] Re: Desktop briefly becomes unresponsive when typing on 2 keyboards at the same time
Hi :) I also have the R-Go Tools Split keyboard and is having the exact same issue no Ubuntu 20.04. I also had the same issue on Ubuntu 18.04. But I found a way to fix it. If I change the display server from X11/Xorg to Wayland then the problem goes away! :D I just followed this guide: https://linuxconfig.org/how-to-enable-disable-wayland-on- ubuntu-20-04-desktop?fbclid =IwAR1yAApu1CItCAnngvHbZgCta1WzY718qk8dqdRXJdVkclm-_xWbOFDGmAw So my suspection is that this is a problem with the default display server in Ubuntu. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/108 Title: Desktop briefly becomes unresponsive when typing on 2 keyboards at the same time To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-shell/+bug/108/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 241604] Re: Maximum zoom in Evince is 400%
And a final coment, when you say: "Unfortunately a paper cut should be a small usability issue that affects many people and is quick and easy to fix" If it is so easy to fix, and it has the major impacts as I mention when running at resolution 1920x1080, then I really do not get why it is not justs fixed, you say yourself that it is "easy to fix". -- Maximum zoom in Evince is 400% https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/241604 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 241604] Re: Maximum zoom in Evince is 400%
Just to correct you saying: "A paper cut is a minor usability annoyance that an average user would encounter on his/her first day of using a new installation of Ubuntu 9.10." I ran Evince in resolution 1920x1080 and was not able to read a simple scientific article as the zoom level of 400 % was so small, this effectively renders Evince useless on any system running at a ressolution of 1920x1080. This was also the reason that I switched to Okular as it supports a bigger zooming, so I can read articles that span the full width of my screen. -- Maximum zoom in Evince is 400% https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/241604 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 347657] Re: [Asus P5E-VM HDMI] suspend/resume failure [non-free: fglrx]
I have a simillar problem, when i suspend i can resume again by pressing a key (e.g space), but when the computer wakes neither keyboard nor mouse works anymore, which i think is wierd :S PS: how do I report what hardware I have?, i tried to run the test in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/SuspendResumeTesting to report my hardware, but here suspend also wakes but the keyboard and mouse does not work so I cannot log in. -- [Asus P5E-VM HDMI] suspend/resume failure [non-free: fglrx] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/347657 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 289159] [NEW] Evince 1920x1080 zoom problem
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince Evince doesn't allow "Fit Page Width" when i'm using a resolution of 1920x1080 on my desktop, it appears as Evince doesn't scale pdf's relative to the windowsize. [Bug 257437] Re: MP3 not showing in output format in Soundjuicer 2.22.0 preferences
I had the exact same problem, but installing Medibuntu (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu) got the problem go away. As i see it is not at real bug (at least my problem wasn't) but at GUI problem/bug. It maybe be a good idea to tell the user that he's newly defined format present is not available to Sound Juicer and therefore doesn't appear in the list (even thought it is marked as active). In my case i added the present for mp3 with these specifics: Profilename: Cd-kvalitet, med tab MP3 Profildescription: Konverterer til lyd af cd-kvalitet, men med en komprimeringskodek med tab. Benyt denne til cdudtrækning eller radiooptagelser. GStreamer-datachannel: audio/x-raw-int,rate=44100,channels=2 ! lame name=enc vbr=4 vbr-quality=2 ! xingmux ! id3v2mux Filetype: mp3 Active?: Yes As I said i just installed the correct codecs by following these guides: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu and https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats as described in post #3 in this thread http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=5554948#post5554948 -- MP3 not showing in output format in Soundjuicer 2.22.0 preferences https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/257437 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
