[Bug 411688]

2019-01-02 Thread TB2
I know nothing about RTP, but from a user perspective, I have two questions:
 1) Transferring a WAV file over the network goes faster than real time (in
terms of the audio contained within). Why should the network struggle with
uncompressed RTP audio, then?
 2) Why are packets generated when nothing is played? If there is no audio
activity in PA, there is no need to send any packets.
Apologies if this doesn't make sense, I'm talking purely as an end-user.

[Bug 726832]

2013-01-11 Thread TB2
I have the same problem. I use one screen above the other and my
vertical mouse pointer speed is about double of the horizontal speed.
It's unusable this way.

Now this might be a different bug or not a bug at all, but I noticed
that the VertResolution and HorizResolution options are missing, even
though they are specified in man synaptics:

---
Option VertResolution integer
Resolution of X coordinates in units/millimeter.
The value is used together with HorizResolution to
compensate unequal vertical and horizontal sensi‐
  tivity. Setting VertResolution and HorizResolution
equal values means no compensation. Default value
is read from the touchpad or set to 1 if value
could not be read. Property: Synaptics Pad Reso‐
  lution

Option HorizResolution integer
Resolution of Y coordinates in units/millimeter.
The value is used together with VertResolution to
compensate unequal vertical and horizontal sensi‐
  tivity. Setting VertResolution and HorizResolution
equal values means no compensation. Default value
is read from the touchpad or set to 1 if value
could not be read. Property: Synaptics Pad Reso‐
  lution

[Bug 228365] Re: vpnc dies with Interrupted system call and/or signal 15

2008-11-10 Thread TB2
I confirm this bug and I think it's upstream. I don't use ubuntu, but
it's the same in my distro (archlinux) and I've seen this bug on other
trackers as well. People even think it might have something to do with
the kernel... This only happens with one of 4 vpn servers I'm connecting
to, so I guess it's also depending on the server configuration.

[Bug 54465] Re: Run dialogue : auto-completion doesn't work with gksudo

2007-11-07 Thread TB2
I don't know if you are aware, but the same problem is present in the
terminal. There is no autocompletition for commands, e.g.

sudo ge{tab} will give me sudo gedit
but
gksudo ge{tab} will just do a system beep.

And this is seriously annoying, especially as people have been called
only to use gksudo for gui apps im Gnome from now on ^^

[Bug 137844] Re: gbib crashes on start

2007-11-06 Thread TB2
I can confirm this!

- Up-tp-date Ubuntu Gutsy
- Gnome 20.2.1
- gbib 0.1.2

I'm using Compiz-Fusion btw, but it doesn't matter. If I use metacity
instead, it still won't start.
