Public bug reported: Binary package hint: notify-osd I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 (Initially i installed 8.04 and continued upgrading up to 9.04) even after upgrading notification system stayed normal old way and when I installed the Notify-osd via Synaptic it only shows notifications for Rhythumbox and other notifications are presented in a normal window which I need to close specifically , I tried removing and reinstalling several times but it's not fixed yet .
