[Bug 2062177] Re: Remmina crashes after RDP connection

2024-04-26 Thread Hiroyuki Tanaka
In addition, a version of Remmina with the fix applied can be installed
using the project's remmina-next PPA, found here:

https://launchpad.net/~remmina-ppa-team/+archive/ubuntu/remmina-next

A flatpak version exists as well.

This can be improved by killing indicator-application-service instead of

The combination of Ubuntu 18.04.3 and the MATE desktop has the same
problem.

And, I have found that this problem does not occur when moving from the
fcitx-qimpanel icon to the fcitx icon. However, it occurs when click
the fcitx icon directly.

Also, this problem does not occur when switching to fcitx-mozc.
However, it happens again if change to another IM.

[Bug 1309781] Re: Chromium browser does not respect defined input method

2014-04-18 Thread Akira Tanaka
Also I confirmed this bug with fcitx + mozc(one of Japanese Input
Method)

When I open a new window (including first run) and try to input
Japanese characters into address bar but Japanese Input Method never enable.
Of course, expected behavior is that Input Method is enabled,
and I can input Japanese character into the address bar.

However, when I opened a web page with some textbox (e.g. Twitter),
I can use mozc in the textbox and after this, I can also use it in the
chromium's address bar.

I believe my comment is supplementary to David's Current behavior.

[Bug 565543] Re: Alps touchpad detected as ImPS/2 Generic Wheel Mouse(in VAIO E series) after the kernel upgrade

2010-08-29 Thread TANAKA Katsunori
In re-revert + ALPS_DUALPOINT case of #70, I found synaptics driver
loaded.

(II) config/udev: Adding input device AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad
(/dev/input/event9)
(**) AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad: Applying InputClass evdev pointer

(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/input/synaptics_drv.so
(II) Module synaptics: vendor=X.Org Foundation
compiled for 1.7.6, module version = 1.2.2
Module class: X.Org XInput Driver

(II) Synaptics touchpad driver version 1.2.2
(**) Option Device /dev/input/event9

(II) AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad: finger width range 0 - 0
(II) AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad: buttons: left right middle
(--) AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad: touchpad found

(type: TOUCHPAD)
(**) AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad: (accel) keeping acceleration scheme 1
(**) AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad: (accel) acceleration profile 0
(**) AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad: (accel) acceleration factor: 2.000
(**) AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad: (accel) acceleration threshold: 4
(--) AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad: touchpad found
(II) config/udev: Adding input device AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad
(/dev/input/mouse2)

Since vertical scroll, horizontal scroll and disabling 'tap to click'
don't work in this case, it seems the synaptics driver doesn't handle
DualPoint TouchPad properly.

I re-revert the change in alps.c in diff from 2.6.32-22.33 to

[Bug 565543] Re: Alps touchpad detected as ImPS/2 Generic Wheel Mouse(in VAIO E series) after the kernel upgrade

2010-08-28 Thread TANAKA Katsunori
In #70 case, my touchpad is recognized as AlpsPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint.

I also tried ALPS_DUALPOINT flag. In this case, recognized as AlpsPS/2
ALPS DualPoint TouchPad.

Sadly, in both cases (re-revert, re-revert + ALPS_DUALPOINT), vertical
scroll, horizontal scroll and disabling 'tap to click' don't work. Seems
ImPS/2 Generic Wheel Mouse is better, because at least vertical scroll
works...

[Bug 339838] Re: mp5 player not found -- and then it is!

2009-04-28 Thread Wesley Tanaka
For what it's worth, I'm seeing this problem with an MP4 player device
with the same same 0525:a4a5 device ID in fedora with kernel
2.6.27.19-170.2.35.fc10.i686 and also on a different machine with kernel
2.6.27.19-78.2.30.fc9.i686.

It appears to me from watching the screen on the player that player's
firmware is crashing when usb-storage does the device scan.

[Bug 106992] mouse to rename causes crash on save-as

2007-04-16 Thread Kat Tanaka Okopnik
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gimp

When trying to 'save as' a new filename, something about the way I use
the mouse to delete part of the name gives either Ubuntu (edgy eft) or
gimp2.2 the impression that I want to grab the old filename and move it
off the dialog. This results in gimp crashing just as I'm trying to save
my work.

The problem seems to be that I'm highlighting the filename, but some
combination of mouseclick and mousedrag results in move the filename
off rather than highlight the parts indicated.

I have the .crash file (10.3MB) saved, but I do not know if this
interface will let me attach it.

** Affects: gimp (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: Unconfirmed

Sorry about the doubled bug-report. The second one (106993) has the
large report attached.
