[Bug 197929] Re: Backlight adjustment no longer works on Thinkpad X61s

2008-03-24 Thread Tero Huttunen
I'm having this same problem with the backlight as I already commented in
#201533.
I got it working with xbacklight by changing the BACKLIGHT_CONTROL from kernel
to native, whatever that means:

$ xrandr --output LVDS --set BACKLIGHT_CONTROL native

[Bug 201533] Re: [hardy] x61s brightness controls have no effect

2008-03-24 Thread Tero Huttunen
Even xbacklight doesn't work; however, doing:

$ xrandr --output LVDS --set BACKLIGHT_CONTROL native

fixes backlight control with xbacklight. Doesn't help with Fn+Home/End.

[Bug 153545] Re: Suspend to ram broken since 2.6.22-13

2008-03-24 Thread Tero Huttunen
I'm having problems with suspend using Lenovo Thinkpad X61s. When I try
to wake up the computer on battery power, it hangs with blank screen
until I plug in the AC, after which it continues as it should.
