I am not sure if this is related into this but after that update that messed things up when I reboot & log into my system I now get a "Gdm- simple-greeter" error. I just did a fresh install of Ubuntu 8.10 Alpha 4 again last night & this is - still affecting the bar. + still affecting the bar. I am ususing version 0.3.1 of AWN. I also notice I have a slowdown. This could be my graphics card. AWN ran alot better on my old car that was a nVidia GeForce 5500FX. Now I have a nVidia 6200 GeForce & it seems that its so much slower using AWN.
