[Bug 1575290] [NEW] NetworkManager does not display AnyConnect option on 16.04
Public bug reported: In 15.10 and earlier versions I could do this: ``` sudo apt-get install network-manager-openconnect-gnome ``` and after logout and re-login NetworkManager would display the Cisco AnyConnect (openconnect) option under VPN \. Since I installed 16.04 (64 bit) this option no longer appears in NM. OpenConnect works just fine from command line: ``` sudo openconnect --user=theo --authgroup=IT vpn.example.com ``` ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 16.04 Package: network-manager 1.1.93-0ubuntu4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.4.0-21.37-generic 4.4.6 Uname: Linux 4.4.0-21-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.1-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 Date: Tue Apr 26 20:51:11 2016 ExecutablePath: /usr/sbin/NetworkManager IfupdownConfig: # interfaces(5) file used by ifup(8) and ifdown(8) auto lo iface lo inet loopback InstallationDate: Installed on 2016-04-21 (4 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS "Xenial Xerus" - Release amd64 (20160420.1) IpRoute: default via 192.168.10.1 dev enp0s25 proto static metric 100 169.254.0.0/16 dev enp0s25 scope link metric 1000 192.168.10.0/24 dev enp0s25 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.10.101 metric 100 NetworkManager.state: [main] NetworkingEnabled=true WirelessEnabled=false WWANEnabled=true SourcePackage: network-manager UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) nmcli-dev: DEVICE TYPE STATEDBUS-PATH CONNECTION CON-UUID CON-PATH enp0s25 ethernet connected/org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/Devices/2 Wired connection 1 a3f8d77d-10fe-4e8e-893f-1c53f8424167 /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/ActiveConnection/0 wlp3s0 wifi unavailable /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/Devices/1 -- ---- lo loopback unmanaged/org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/Devices/0 -- ---- nmcli-nm: Error: command ['nmcli', '-f', 'all', 'nm'] failed with exit code 2: Error: Object 'nm' is unknown, try 'nmcli help'. ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug xenial -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1575290 Title: NetworkManager does not display AnyConnect option on 16.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1575290/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1378690] [NEW] 82573L Gigabit Ethernet Controller UNCLAIMED on Ubuntu
Public bug reported: I am currently using 14.04 but I have tested this from 10.04 (downloaded from oldreleases) to the beta 14.10 and the bug is still there. 32 or 64 bit releases do not seems to make any difference. I solved the issue temporarily by downloading the sources from Intel and applying the following procedure: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1276211&page=4&p=8021944#post8021944 This however is a temporary fix and the patch will have to be re-applied on the next kernel update. [Bug 735297] Re: Can not print on an SMB shared printer after password change
OK I now see what is happening. I commented out the "AuthInfoRequired" line but I still get the problem. [Bug 735297] [NEW] Can not print on an SMB shared printer after password change
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cups I print to a number of SMB shared printers in a 2003 Active Directory domain. My password is changed from time to time as a policy in our organisation. When this happens I get prompted to enter the new password but I can no longer connect to the using the new password. [Bug 695834] Re: VNC Doesn't Transmit Certain Characters Properly
OK I think I found the issue. The problem was not on the vinagre side but on the vnc server. I use x11vnc and I added the -xkb flag to it. rfkrocktk can you test it yourself? This is my setup: root@MAE02WS004:~# cat /etc/xinetd.d/x11vnc service x11vnc { port= 5901 type= UNLISTED socket_type = stream protocol= tcp wait= no user= root server = /usr/bin/x11vnc server_args = -inetd -o /var/log/x11vnc.log -display :0 -auth /var/lib/gdm/:0.Xauth -usepw -many -bg -noxdamage -ncache 10 -xkb disable = no } And created a password using the "x11vnc -storepasswd" command. [Bug 119799] Re: It dies when you right click
I 'll try to be more specific. The treeline app has two panels, left and right. The left one is used to display the titles of your tasks and the other one it has the complete content of them. When you try to paste some more text to the title of a task, in the left panel (the text is highlighted and the cursor is blinking), as soon as you right click the program dies. You can safely paste text in the right panel so it is not an issue of functionality. But if you accidentaly right click in the left panel during editing text the program will die and if your work is not saved you are going to loose it. -- It dies when you right click https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/119799 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
