[Bug 1630966] [NEW] SMS notified only when screen is ON
Public bug reported: Since OTA 13, when screen is OFF, incoming SMS are not received until the screen is switched ON: no SMS tone is played, LED is not blinking. As soon as I switch my screen ON, the tone will be played and the LED will start blinking, as if it had just arrived. However, please note that after a long time with screen OFF, the notification is effective. [Bug 1603957] [NEW] MMS is lost if data disabled
Public bug reported: If data is disabled at one moment and receiving a MMS notification, the message is lost forever and no notification is displayed to user. Actually, when phone receives the MMS notification, it should be notified in the inbox (for instance: pending MMS available) so that user can choose either to enabled data in order to download the MMS or to delete the notification so that the MMS is rejected. So far, user never knows that someone tried to send him a MMS. [Bug 1590940] [NEW] Can't enable/disable SMS status report
Public bug reported: GSM specification of SMS-PP allows to enable/disable SMS status reports in order to get a notification whether outgoing SMS have been received by the contact or is pending. So far, there is no way to configure this in my Ubuntu phone (BQ Aquaris E4.5) and it seems that within message details, there is no information about the status report (sent, received, pending, etc) Seen on: Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu 15.04 OTA 11 ** Affects: messaging-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1590940 Title: Can't enable/disable SMS status report To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/messaging-app/+bug/1590940/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1590938] [NEW] Can't send a SMS to a phone number received in a SMS
Public bug reported: When receiving a phone number in a SMS, for instance +33612341234, there is no way to send a SMS directly to the phone number included in the message (+33612341234). One first has to store the phone number in the Contact List then prepare a new SMS and select this contact. When selecting +33612341234, it should be possible to choose between phone app or messaging app. Seen on: BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu 15.04 OTA 11 ** Affects: messaging-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1590938 Title: Can't send a SMS to a phone number received in a SMS To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/messaging-app/+bug/1590938/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
