[Bug 1458631] Re: udev: /dev/input/js0 is created but no joystick attached
I tested with both 4.1.1 and 4.2rc1. Neither fixed the problem ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1458631 Title: udev: /dev/input/js0 is created but no joystick attached To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1458631/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1458631] Re: udev: /dev/input/js0 is created but no joystick attached
I tested again with some fedora live images and found that the same problem existed in fedora 19 and 20. In 21 and 22 I do not see the /dev/input/js0. Is there anything further that I can do to help? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1458631 Title: udev: /dev/input/js0 is created but no joystick attached To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1458631/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1458631] Re: udev: /dev/input/js0 is created but no joystick attached
I still see the invalid /dev/input/js0 with the latest kernel (4.1 rc7). It is strange that this problem does not exist on fedora 22 which has 4.0. ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream kernel-bug-exists- upstream-4.1-rc7 ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1458631 Title: udev: /dev/input/js0 is created but no joystick attached To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1458631/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1458631] Re: udev: /dev/input/js0 is created but no joystick attached
Hi Martin. I have attached the output. Case a is with a combined wireless usb dongle for a microsoft keyboard. Case b is for a wired usb keyboard (logitech) and wired mouse (hp). Case c is with just the mouse. The js0 is not created for the last case. I am of course interested in getting the bug fixed, but even more in learning how to debug and fix it. So any details about what you think is wrong would be much appreciated :) ** Attachment added: "a1" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1458631/+attachment/4408698/+files/a1 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1458631 Title: udev: /dev/input/js0 is created but no joystick attached To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1458631/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 138713] Re: Gnometris uses Gnome foot logo instead of Ubuntu theme
Just a note that a similar probing is already done in a user specific location. The background can be changed by dragging an image onto the game. This copies the image to ~/.local/share/gnometris/background.bin. This image is used as background if it exists, otherwise it will fall back to the default image. I understand that this may not be what you are looking for exactly but at least similar code is already there for this kind of thing. Look at http://git.gnome.org/cgit/gnome-games/tree/gnometris/tetris.cpp#n145 to see the actual code. -- Gnometris uses Gnome foot logo instead of Ubuntu theme https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/138713 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 225000] Re: gnome-sudoku draws multiple, overlapping number selectors for the same square
Actually it is a combination of: http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/gnome-games?view=revision&revision=8912 and http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/gnome-games?view=revision&revision=8916 The first fixes the bug and the second is a general clean up of code in the area. The first will go into 2.26.1 but the second patch is a bit more invasive and only cleans up code so it will stay on trunk. -- gnome-sudoku draws multiple, overlapping number selectors for the same square https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/225000 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
