[Bug 354995] Re: Brasero Checksum Error
In bug 373591 Pedro Villavicencio wrote on 2009-05-08: Thanks for the report, could you get us the full debug log? please get one with: brasero --brasero-media-debug &> brasero.txt and attach that file to the report? are you using wodim or growisofs? thanks. I get the same errors as Arthur, John, et al within the Brasero GUI whenever I burn any image, even ones that are known to be good. (I know it's good because it burns without complaint and with verification on my OS X box.) I have attached the requested brasero.txt file produced with the above command. ** Attachment added: "brasero.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/28444528/brasero.txt -- Brasero Checksum Error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/354995 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I just bumped across this bug again with a dell mini. It affected all ssh connections, even those on my local wlan. [Bug 61569] 915resolution is not activated after hibernate, resulting in malformatted display (patch provided)
Public bug reported: I have an Acer Aspire 5601WLMi which uses Intel 945 (aka Intel 950 GMA) integrated video system. Installing Edgy Knot 2 (plus updates as of 9/10/2006) resulted in a 1024x768 display. Installing 915resolution and following the instructions resulted in a correct 1280x800 display. Suspend to RAM is broken (for now) on this machine, so I need to use Hibernate. Doing so works, except that I only get a 1024x768 "viewport" on the 1280x800 desktop. Oops. The solution is to install an appropriate file in /etc/acpi/resume.d I copied the file /etc/acpi/resume.d/13-855-resolution-set.sh and changed all instances of 855resolution to 915resolution. This is the result: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/acpi/resume.d$ more 13-915-resolution-set.sh #!/bin/bash if [ -x /usr/sbin/915resolution ]; then . /etc/default/915resolution if [ "$MODE" != "" ] && [ "$XRESO" != "" ] && [ "$YRESO" != "" ]; then /etc/init.d/915resolution start; fi fi Resuming from hibernate now works correctly; the display is properly restored to 1280x800. Others have encountered this bug. Here's one example: https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-users/2006-September/094344.html I think that the easiest way to resolve this issue is for the .dpkg for 915resolution to install the above file. I disclaim all copyright in the above file, not that the changes were enough to be protectable... ;-) ** Affects: 915resolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- 915resolution is not activated after hibernate, resulting in malformatted display (patch provided) https://launchpad.net/bugs/61569 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
