[Bug 1298287] Re: Windows and icons stays on secondary display

2015-03-02 Thread Thomas N
That's because the bug is almost a year old!

I no longer use Ubuntu but instead Mac OS X which works very good, I can
really recommend it to everyone struggling with Ubuntu-bugs.

[Bug 264691] Re: Please add NM option for connecting to L2TP IPSEC VPN

2014-10-23 Thread Thomas N
Switched to a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.9 and that solved the issue very
nicely for me (also a big number of other Ubuntu-bugs).

So that is my best tips to anyone still hoping to see this get fixed,
switch away from Ubuntu because this bug is from 2008!

[Bug 1298578] Re: Brightness is low after resume from suspend, can't be increased

2014-08-28 Thread Thomas N
Typical Ubuntu-style, lots of problem reports for this problem since
13.10 but no fixes :(

I think this happens more if you use two monitors and for example
suspend the computer with an external monitor as primary display and
secondary/laptop off and then wakeup from suspend without this external
monitor.

[Bug 1312107] [NEW] Minimised applications show briefly before lock and after unlock (again)

2014-04-24 Thread Thomas N
Public bug reported:

With the new locking scheme in unity7, minimized applications appear
briefly after unlocking

To reproduce:

1. Open some applications (in my case psensor and steam)
2. Minimize them
3. Press CTRL+ALT+L or Super+L to lock the screen
Observe the minimized windows briefly popup before the screen locks.
4. Unlock screen
Observe the minimized windows re-appear, then re-minimize.

I would expect minimized applications to stay minimised through the
lock/unlock process.

Here is a video showing the problem:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ai5r2krtgbo93im/2014-04-24%2009.51.52.mp4

[Bug 118546] Re: [needs-packaging] ArgoUML

2010-05-11 Thread Thomas N.
So regarding gef, it seems that there is just a tag missing, that you
can refer to? I can take care that this is done, so that you have a
http://gef.tigris.org/source/browse/gef/tags/VERSION_0_13_1/ that
corresponds to the gef 0.13.1 shipped with the current ArgoUML 0.30.1
release. Ist that a solution?

About mof.jar and the included mof.xml: I can't tell what to do here. I
always thought that mof.jar is a part of the used MDR release. Do you
think that one in our team might have more information where mof.jar
comes from? I really don't know what to do here.
