[Bug 254419] Re: [needs-packaging] LibQxt

2011-06-07 Thread thomasp
Hi,

I just see that LibQxt package is now available in Ubuntu universe
repository. [1] Apparently the package was automatically synced from
Debian unstable archive. And I was registered as the Ubuntu maintainer
of this package.

I don't know the Ubuntu process very well but it seem to be available in
oneiric release.
Don't hesitate to give me feedbacks of the integration of libqxt package
in Ubuntu or report bugs in launchpad if you have troubles!

Best regards,

Thomas PIERSON

[Bug 779919] [NEW] hp-a6520: Random system freezes

2011-05-09 Thread thomasp
Public bug reported:

Hi,

Since the 'natty' upgrade, my system randomly freeze.

Some symptoms :
- first, screen is totally frozen
- song mute after some seconds after that
- some apps seem to continue to run
- Can't switch to tty

This issue can happens average three times a day.
I am using Ubuntu Natty x86 version on a HP a6520.

I have no idea if it is a kernel issue or a Xorg issue or others..
I noticed this particular line in kernel logs at the time of each freezes :
[ 536.288809] hda-intel: IRQ timing workaround is activated for card #1.
Suggest a bigger bdl_pos_adj.

I join to this report many other logs.
Tell me if you need more logs.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Thomas PIERSON

[Bug 446736] [NEW] With nautilus in Computer window, DBus error occurs if you use unmount link after you mount then unmount a partition.

2009-10-08 Thread thomasp
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Hi,

Steps to reproduce:
1) Open Places = Computer.
2) Right-click on a partition = mount
3) Right-click on the same partition = unmount
4) Right-click on the same partition again = You can see two links: mount
and unmount !
5) Of course if you click-on unmount an error occurs because this partition
is already unmounted!

I think at the step 4) the link unmount should not be displayed.

Best regards,

Thomas Pierson

i can confirm this bug on a Lenovo Thinkpad T61. Trying to change themes
has no effect, all the decorations seem very basic, also 3D acceleration
is gone or looks very ugly. Maybe it has something to do with the
xserver-xorg-video-i810 or -intel update?
