[Bug 1786822] Re: Pinta constantly crashes in Ubuntu 18.04 fresh install

[Bug 1787716] Re: Installer Stopped with the Error number 5 : error copying files :/ Is is possible to manually copy the files? And or how to further debug the issue?
This was my first idea too. I did the following: Download Ubuntu 18.04 - error as described. So I found this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1771059 and downloaded the daily ISO with the same error. Then i found Ubuntu 18.04.01 with the same error. So I verified the ISO as described on the Ubuntu page. After that I check the MD5 sums on the USB stick to verify the USB-Stick is not the issue. Same Problem / Error. After a BIOS update and changing the partitions from SWAP, EXT4 -> EXT4, SWAP (so EXT4 root partition is on sectors with lower number on the SDD) the installation went fine. So I assume it was either the BIOS update OR a bad sector on the SSD. How to further investigate this issue? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1787716 Title: Installer Stopped with the Error number 5 : error copying files :/ Is is possible to manually copy the files? [Bug 1757068] Re: Night light brakes when screen dims
I'm not sure if nightlight breaks after dim or after it turns off completely. (since it cannot dim any more after having lowest possible backlight already) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1757068 Title: Night light brakes when screen dims To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1757068/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1676131] Re: Gnome Night Light doesn't work
For me nightlight is working perfectly after each reboot - but as soon as the display is turned off nightlight is off when the screen is powered on again. As a workaround I turn the setting off and on again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1676131 Title: Gnome Night Light doesn't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1676131/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
