[Bug 1872383] Re: blk_update_request error when mount nvme partition
Feedback from vendor SK Hynix: Currently, Host send the Write Zeros CMD with NLB 0x100(0~257). But PC400 can support Max 0xFF (0~256) Now we suggest that Canonical try to test with 0xFF instead of 0x100. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1872383 Title: blk_update_request error when mount nvme partition To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oem-priority/+bug/1872383/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 539741] [NEW] epiphany doesn't support sftp urls in karmic
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: epiphany-browser Epiphany Web Browser 2.28.0 Ubuntu 9.10 - the Karmic Koala Gnome Desktop 2.28.1 When trying to open an html document (ex. http://sftp//[hostname]/srv/http/index.html) over an sftp connection by right-clicking -> open with -> epiphany I get this error: --- Unable to load page Problem occurred while loading the URL http://sftp//[hostname]/srv/http/index.html Cannot resolve hostname --- Manually typing "file:///home/[username]/.gvfs/sftp on [hostname]/srv/http/index.html" in the address bar opens it. It seems that epiphany doesn't support sftp urls, but it thinks it does. Having it look in .gvfs would solve the problem I think. ** Affects: epiphany-browser (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- epiphany doesn't support sftp urls in karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/539741 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 539137] [NEW] annotated pdf default file name not what expected.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xournal I am running Ubuntu 9.10 - the Karmic Koala package info: xournal: Installed: 0.4.5-1 Candidate: 0.4.5-1 Version table: *** 0.4.5-1 0 500 http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status - If an existing xournal file ([xournal_filename].xoj) is opened, and export to .pdf, the default name given to the pdf is that of the xournal file opened ([xournal_file].pdf). (as expected) - If an existing pdf ([pdf_file].pdf) file is annotated in xournal and then saved as a xournal file, the default filename given to the xournal file is that of the file ([pdf_file.pdf].xoj) (as expected) However, if you 'annotate' a .pdf file in xournal and then 'export' it to .pdf the default name given to the file is the default name given to any new unnamed .xoj file (i.e. something like 2010-01-15-Note-08-49.pdf). It would be more convenient for the default name given to an annotated .pdf to be something like [pdf_file(annotated)].pdf. I am not sure if this is a "bug" per se, or a feature enhancement, therefore not sure if I am filling this in the proper place. I hope so though. ** Affects: xournal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- annotated pdf default file name not what expected. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/539137 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 34902] Re: Ralink Wireless legacy drivers (rt2500 rt61 rt73 rt2570) USB/PCMCIA/PCI hangs PC
My Linksys WMP54G v4.1 (rt61) is now working perfectly on 7.10 using the instructions in the link below. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=3830958#post3830958 Hope the rest of you see progress soon! [Bug 34902] Re: Ralink Wireless legacy drivers (rt2500 rt61 rt73 rt2570) USB/PCMCIA/PCI hangs PC
I have the same issue with a Linksys WMP54G connecting to a WPA access point using rt61 driver on Ubuntu Feisty. Installing the latest serialmonkey version of rt61 appears to eliminate the lock-up issue (i.e. it looks like they have this problem fixed). However (and this could well be a serialmonkey, not Ubuntu issue) it ONLY works if I first connect to the AP with NO security, then take the connection (and router) down and back up with WPA enabled. Connecting using WPA without first connecting in unsecure mode fails (iwlist scan can see it, but signal quality is 0/100, and dhcp fails). -- Ralink Wireless legacy drivers (rt2500 rt61 rt73 rt2570) USB/PCMCIA/PCI hangs PC https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/34902 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
