[Bug 419877] [NEW] package libmpd0 0.17.0-1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-removal script returned error exit status 2

2009-08-27 Thread Tihameer
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libmpd

i reported the 'same' bug involved another package: libxfcegui4:

Im using Jaunty.
During the install of some new programs (music players: bluemind, potamus,
quark, xfpc and gmusicpalyer) with the add/remove applications the system
freezes completely (no error message, just reset hepled). After restart i ran
add/remove programs and it worked, till i wanted to uninstall these appications
because they did not appeared in my applications menu.
The removal of these programs causes an error messages about broken packages
and dependencies.
Add/remove programs is not working anymore (error about the dependencies),
synapctic is still runng in the backround, but it makes the same error message.

sudo apt-get install -f did not helped and i got this messsage:

[Bug 262146] [NEW] update-manager freezes when disk is full

2008-08-28 Thread Tihameer
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

Greetings!

I was downloading (transmission) when my disk becomes full.
Meanwhile i started an update, and the update manager freezes.
And none of my programs (which used the disk) reported the disk-full.

Uduntu 8.04. I'm using swap partition.

Ok, I know the solution: make space. :)
I did it and everithing turns back to normal (after killing the update-manager).

Thanks!
Tih
