[Bug 1914077] Re: [snap] Add Greek langpack to LibreOffice snap package

2021-03-03 Thread Tijn Boissevain
I would like te ask for a Dutch (NL) language pack - and UI pack - in
the Snap version of LibreOffice.

But I think it is more universal to make and publish a tutorial for Snap
users how to add any desired (UI) language pack to the package. The
locales itself are available in the regular LibreOffice packages, so
that cannot be an obstacle.

[Bug 1810120] [NEW] Rename-field not responding to keyboard strokes while rename active

2018-12-30 Thread Tijn Boissevain
Public bug reported:

After hitting F2 or click on filename to activate rename, the filename is
highlighted, but no keyboard-keys will react for editing. This includes
shift+keys, ctrl+keys and shft+ctrl+keys actions.
Placing the cursor or highlighting text is only possible by mouse, thus
filename changes only by via mouse-rightclick-paste.

Uninstalling, rebooting and re-installing Nemo packages did result in
exactly one-time I could normally navigate, select and type in the
rename field in Nemo. After closing en re-opening the Nemo-windows it
was back to no-filename-editing again.

[Bug 995555] Re: package ubuntu-standard 1.267 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

2012-05-29 Thread Tijn Boissevain
I looked again and found that etc/default/grub.ucf-old was made
10-may-2011. So i searched /var/log/dist-upgrade but found no file
around that date. Searched further and only found two
/var/log/gdm/:0-greeter.log files.

I did however find an etc/default/grub~ (7-march-2012) and did a search
for that date. I found /var/log/boot-sav/log/2012-03-07__21h41boot-
repair57

Hopefully this is of any help, although the line GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=""
in etc/default/grub did the trick for me and solved all my problems
:-)

Found this thread while my Brother DCP-9055CDN has the same problem.

Just updated to cups-filters 1.0.18 (proposed) and it prints fine now!
Thanks!

I did not ever edit or even open /etc/default/grub but did now and i
found a missing double-quote in the line GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="" only
by comparing it to an other machine. In /etc/default I also found a file
called grub.ucf-old and the line there said GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="
