[Bug 1946174] Re: Trackpad not being detected
This appears to be the same issue I have reported in Bug #1952497 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1946174 Title: Trackpad not being detected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1946174/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1952497] Re: Touchpad not detected
** Description changed: HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec1510AX (EC151XXX family) Elan PrecisionTouchpad not detected when booting from either 20.04 or 20.10 live usb except very occasionally the touchpad would be found when booting from 20.04 (with many repeated live boot attempts between 20.04, 20.10 and also Windows). On the second occasion the touchpad was found, installed from 20.04 with touchpad working, rebooted into installed version and touchpad didn't work again. Upgraded to 20.10 and touchpad still not working. Occasionally the mouse pointer on screen seemed to move a few pixels as the live boot was flicking between splash screens but this was irregular at best. If it's any help, I can get more info about the device from the Win10 device manager (dual boot). + + Edit: A search shows this bug report appears to be the same issue as + #1946174. [Bug 242143] Re: 8.04 IA32 file size >2gb errors
Looks like it may have been a bug in gdal after all. Fix will likely be released in gdal 1.5.3. Sorry for the noise here. ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Invalid -- 8.04 IA32 file size >2gb errors https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/242143 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 242143] [NEW] 8.04 IA32 file size >2gb errors
Public bug reported: I'm getting errors using file sizes >2gb on iA32. I can cp files to and from the filesystem no probs, but when I use gdalinfo (gdal/ogr suite) to read info about raster images (ecw's & geotiff's) it reports errors when the file size is >2gb. This happens with gdal/ogr compiled from source and binary distro from upstream. Same binary distro works on previous versions of ubuntu, and other versions of linux for large files. Error has been duplicated by others. The error is specific to ubuntu 8.04. The config.log of local gdal compile reports that large file support seems to be ok according to the lead gdal/ogr developer, FrankW. Error occurs on ext3 & reiserfs. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- 8.04 IA32 file size >2gb errors https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/242143 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
