[Bug 567636] Re: mumble stops responding when try to connect to server
>The similar error (freeze) I see appears to be caused by removing one USB headset and trying another before starting mumble: mumble spins looking for the old device. In my case, this is not true. I'm using the standard stereo audio ports on a ThinkPad A31 (nothing should be changing, and nothing seems to be changing). -- mumble stops responding when try to connect to server https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/567636 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 567636] Re: mumble stops responding when try to connect to server
>I'm not sure I follow you, the original bug said that mumble stops responding connecting to a server, but since you say everything works when connected to a server, I don't know if this is related to the original bug? It is. When I said "and once I connect", I was referring to when using the workarounds in my first comment. If I do not run the audio wizard and do not run Mumble in gdb, it will lock up when I try to login to a server. After using the audio wizard it will work fine, and then break again once you restart Mumble (probably something to do with the configuration).
Yes, I can hear myself in the audio wizard, and once I connect to my server (hosted locally), everything works as expected (except for application attenuation, but I believe that is a somewhat unrelated matter). I'm using the packages from Canonical (1.2.2-1ubuntu1 for both server and client).
I have the same issue. It will not happen if you go through the audio wizard before connecting (without even changing anything). Interestingly, you can also get around the issue by running mumble from gdb. -- mumble stops responding when try to connect to server https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/567636 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 148466] Re: Won't boot on a DELL Poweredge 2500
I was able to install Ubuntu Server 9.10 (again) on my PE2500 using the method described above, only skipping the use of the Live session (substituted by my desktop computer). -- Won't boot on a DELL Poweredge 2500 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/148466 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 260251] Re: bttv driver dies with VIDIOC_DQBUF error
I was not able to get it working by disabling the network (unless I'm misunderstanding something). I did 'modprobe -r b44' and disabled networking and 'eth0' was no longer showing up in 'cat /proc/interrupts'. However, I still got the same error as always before. Tvtime doesn't work on my test machine (something about GATOS drivers), but xawtv shows the video data just fine (regardless of the network status). I've attached a file containing the report of 'cat /proc/interrupts' *before* I disabled networking. ** Attachment added: "cat /proc/interrupts" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/29908521/tc-proc-interrupts -- bttv driver dies with VIDIOC_DQBUF error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/260251 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
