[Bug 666493] Re: Maverick's imon kernel module does not support protocol switching (regression)
I managed to get this to work with the maverick kernel by catting "rc6" rather than "rc-6" to /sys/class/rc/rc0/protocols. e.g. echo rc6 | sudo tee /sys/class/rc/rc0/protocols This combined with sudo ir-keytable -p rc6 -w /etc/rc_keymaps/imon_mce Got it working for me. I put this in rc.local for now, but there is a chance the modules may not have loaded when rc.local is run, so I've forced a modprobe for now. Once this is all in udev it should be much cleaner. My rc.local looks like this: modprobe imon ir-keytable -p rc6 -w /etc/rc_keymaps/imon_mce echo rc6 > /sys/class/rc/rc0/protocols -- Maverick's imon kernel module does not support protocol switching (regression) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/666493 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 485538] Re: /usr/share/mythtv/mythvideo/scripts/jamu.py returns error on success
Check your /var/log/mythtv/jamu.log. On my system MythVideo was configured to use paths in $HOME/MythVideo/* for banners, fanart, posters, etc. The script was failing because these folders did not exist and were not writeable by the mythtv user. -- /usr/share/mythtv/mythvideo/scripts/jamu.py returns error on success https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/485538 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

This has been resolved in debian and a package is now in sid. [Bug 228438] Re: clamav version is outdated
Might be worth mentioning that http://www.clamav.org/download/packages /packages-linux links to the ClamAV Update Team Personal Package Archive (PPA). Might be useful if someone does want a newer package before Intrepid. [Bug 67463] Re: edgy kernel breaks qla2100 HBA support
We're experiencing this too with Edgy RC1. It appears that all the qla2xxx modules have been removed so our QLA2300 series cards don't work either. Having the modules on the live cd makes for a great diagnostic utility, as well as having our storage available straight after installation. -- edgy kernel breaks qla2100 HBA support https://launchpad.net/bugs/67463 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
