[Bug 1767245] [NEW] terminator crashes on xserver, gnome-shell

2018-04-26 Thread Tiran
Public bug reported:

Hi,

I just updated my ubuntu to 18.04 and tried to run the terminator.
Terminator starts normally and when I try to maximize or press windows
key to open dash, the terminator disappears.

I have noticed that the same behavior in ubuntu 17.10 xserver also, It
works perfectly on wayland.

Please tell me how to get the logs and I'll add the logs also.

0-7 are signal handlers called due to the segfault.

[Bug 155897] Kdevelop Find in Files fails with status 123

2007-10-22 Thread Tiran
Public bug reported:

The find in files feature of KDevelop 3.5.0 doesn't work since the
upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy. It fails with error 123 on the console.

Search Results:
cat .../.grep.tmp| grep -v -e '/CVS/' -e '/SCCS/' -e '/\.svn/' -e '/_darcs/' |
xargs egrep -H -n -s -e 'PyImport_'
*** 0 matches found. ***
*** Exited with status: 123 ***

I tried both with a new project file and an old project file from before
the upgrade.

[Bug 79457] Re: kopete history plugin is enabled but nonfunctional

2007-01-31 Thread Tiran
Confirmed!

I'm had troubles with the history plugin, too. The plugin was loaded and
checked but it didn't log messages. I followed the instructions above
and the plugin started to work. Before I disabled and reenabled the
plugin the ~/.kde/share/apps/kopete/logs was missing and no
conversations were logged.

[Bug 67570] cryptsetup fails to read password from console at boot time

2006-10-22 Thread Tiran
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cryptsetup

cryptsetup 1.0.3-3ubuntu3
distro: edgy

After an update to Edgy my encrypted /var partition can't be mounted at
startup. The cryptsetup command fails with an error message Error
reading password or similar (I can't remember the exact wording). It
seems like it can't grab a password prompt from the tty. It might be
related with the new upstart system.
