Thanks Diego, I didn't only had to find the torrent places where I got
them from, which I did.
Thanks again and have a great week.

[Bug 160446] Databank year entry jumps to 1900

2007-11-06 Thread Tom Zimmermann
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

I am trying to make a databank of my DVD's and it startet well but as I changed
the row entry to () just year without a particular date when I go to
the next row, it jumps to 1900 and does not leave the date I inserted! 2005 or
2006 etc
Only when I enter a full date (who remembers, which day a movie came out??)
then it inserts it correctly.

[Bug 52646] Re: send link does nothing

2007-09-03 Thread Tom Zimmermann
Thunderbird is my default mail client and it only started a few days ago to not
open up when I click on send link. So obviously some update did change whatever
settings and it is annoying to copy and paste evrytime >I want to send a link.
I am a newbie with Ubuntu and do not want to mess up my settings by touching or
changing any config file. It used to work fine and
not through my fault it stopped working. Any solution in sight? I am using

since an update und using Brasero, I did burn a couple of cd without
problem.
on another machine I had the same problem but I exchanged 1 drive to a
cd burner and now it works there too.
It is about time, they come up with a software solution.

Plus on ATI too and the popups do not stop at all and no way to close
the windo..only the whole browser. It does not matter

3-Version of Firefox.

[Bug 191027] Re: "Failed to connect stream: Invalid argument"

2008-06-25 Thread Tom Zimmermann
went to: http://www.themuso.id.au/ubuntu/alsa and found out that some of the
links are mixed up... clicking on 32 architecture link brings up the 64 and
vice versa...
plus some dependencies did not work neither.. still no sound. Updated today and
since then no sound. Yesterday it still was working fine. DSid a clean install
from a Magazine DVD

Re: [Bug 149076] Re: I can't write a cd

2008-07-16 Thread Tom Zimmermann
since an update und using Brasero, I did burn a couple of cd without
problem.
on another machine I had the same problem but I exchanged 1 drive to a
cd burner and now it works there too.
It is about time, they come up with a software solution.

Plus on ATI too and the popups do not stop at all and no way to close
the windo..only the whole browser. It does not matter
if I have Java and Javascript enabled or not. this started since the
3-Version of Firefox.

** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 52646] Re: send link does nothing

Thunderbird is my default mail client and it only started a few days ago to not
open up when I click on send link. So obviously some update did change whatever
settings and it is annoying to copy and paste evrytime >I want to send a link.
I am a newbie with Ubuntu and do not want to mess up my settings by touching or
changing any config file. It used to work fine and
not through my fault it stopped working. Any solution in sight? I am using

2008-06-25 Thread Tom Zimmermann

vice versa...
plus some dependencies did not work neither.. still no sound. Updated today and
since then no sound. Yesterday it still was working fine. DSid a clean install

2008-01-24 Thread Tom Zimmermann

[Bug 52646] Re: send link does nothing

2007-09-03 Thread Tom Zimmermann
Thunderbird is my default mail client and it only started a few days ago to not
open up when I click on send link. So obviously some update did change whatever
settings and it is annoying to copy and paste evrytime >I want to send a link.
I am a newbie with Ubuntu and do not want to mess up my settings by touching or
changing any config file. It used to work fine and
not through my fault it stopped working. Any solution in sight? I am using
2.006 on Feisty !Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6)

Plus on ATI too and the popups do not stop at all and no way to close
the windo..only the whole browser. It does not matter

** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

since an update und using Brasero, I did burn a couple of cd without
problem.
on another machine I had the same problem but I exchanged 1 drive to a
cd burner and now it works there too.
It is about time, they come up with a software solution.

2008-07-16 Thread Tom Zimmermann
since an update und using Brasero, I did burn a couple of cd without
problem.
on another machine I had the same problem but I exchanged 1 drive to a
cd burner and now it works there too.
It is about time, they come up with a software solution.

if I have Java and Javascript enabled or not. this started since the

[Bug 191027] Re: "Failed to connect stream: Invalid argument"

2008-06-25 Thread Tom Zimmermann
went to: http://www.themuso.id.au/ubuntu/alsa and found out that some of the
links are mixed up... clicking on 32 architecture link brings up the 64 and
vice versa...
plus some dependencies did not work neither.. still no sound. Updated today and
since then no sound. Yesterday it still was working fine. DSid a clean install
from a Magazine DVD
