I everybody, Yesterday I installed 10.10 RC and I having the same problem: When I enter the correct password at lock screen, the window freezes at "checking". The only way to take control is killing the process. Hi, thanks for your answer. I found in the bug report #525149 a similar issue with a VAIO. In post #81 of that report there is a solution with new alsa drivers. After that now my right speaker is working, but the left one doesn't work. The internal microphone works, but the quality is low, very noisy, in the same ambiance in windows the quality is good.
