[Bug 1801889] Re: evolution-ews does still on 3.28.1 instead of 3.28.5 in bionic
Hi Brian, thanks for the build. I've tested that build: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution- ews/3.28.5-0ubuntu0.18.04.1/+build/16431621 It fixes all the problems for me i had with the current delivered package (which i also compiled myself in the past to be able to work with ews at all ;) ). So for me the package looks fine. ** Tags removed: verification-needed-bionic ** Tags added: verification-done-bionic ** Tags removed: verification-needed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1801889 Title: evolution-ews does still on 3.28.1 instead of 3.28.5 in bionic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-ews/+bug/1801889/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1801889] Re: evolution-ews does still on 3.28.1 instead of 3.28.5 in bionic
Of cause I can do the required testing. I can verify the bugs I can reproduce - at least issue 2 and 17 are fixed with that new version (already patched and compiled a local package for that ^^). So just tell me when the package is ready in proposed and I'll give it a try. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1801889 Title: evolution-ews does still on 3.28.1 instead of 3.28.5 in bionic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-ews/+bug/1801889/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 932003] [NEW] gnome-shell freeze - must reboot to recover, lightdm+dbus restart does not help
Public bug reported: Nearly one - tow times per day my gnome-shell freezes and i have to reboot. Restarting X from a terminal - i am able to switch to a vt but any X interaction is nearly unpossible (still have to wait like 1 minute to switch to the vt after pressing the key) - via lightdm and dbus does not help, it will instantly freeze again after login. Attaching my xsession-errors file, clutter is complaining about some failed assertions, mabye its the cause - maybe not, don't know. Don't know the action which triggers this - sometimes its switching a window, sometimes it when clicking on a status symbol like pidgin, can't tell the trigger and don't know how to provoke. [Bug 517060] Re: hardy-lucid upgrade using linux-image-xen breaks systems running in PV mode under xen/xenserver
This wont work. From the Xen docs: ### Using older Xen versions is known to be problematic, for example Xen 4.0.0 libraries have problems with recent 2.6.32.x kernels, making xend fail to start due to evtchn/gntdev device node creation issues. Using Xen 3.4.2 or older won't work at all, since old hypervisor versions lack the new required IOAPIC setup hypercall and boot will fail with IRQ related issues. It's recommended to run the latest Xen 4.0.x version, at least Xen 4.0.1. ### So step 1 would fail, because my hardy does only got a xen 3.3.0 or xen 3.2.x one; but those one would already fail to boot on this new kernel. So i'll have to update to xen 4.0.1+ first, but there is no such paket for hardy *uh* - so still a broken upgrade path. What now? Do you really want to tell me that i am stuck at hardy and have to do a complete reinstall of my host to get to a supported LTS release with Xen dom0 support? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/517060 Title: hardy-lucid upgrade using linux-image-xen breaks systems running in PV mode under xen/xenserver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/517060/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Yeah. I guess in next LTS dom0 support will be there again, but the upgrade path will be hardy - next LTS; don't know if that is supported. [Bug 896375] [NEW] lightdm does ignore session selection first time non local user is choosen
Public bug reported: In contrast to GDM LightDM ignores the choosen session to start for a user account and even does forget a users choosen session after a restart/reboot. I am using a winbind user account (from nsswitch), a non local one. The first time the user can not be selected from the menu, you have to choose other and enter the username. After pressing enter i switch my session from Ubuntu to LXDE and enter my password. I would expect LXDE is started, however Ubuntu default Session is loaded. I have to logout. I can choose now my user from the list (lightdm did remember the account now) and now i have to switch from Ubuntu to LXDE again. After entering password and login second time LXDE does load. After a reboot a have to do the procedure from above again. GDM did not show this Session bug, i can enter any username i want and choose a session an its working the first time. Post to the bug the results of trying to get the mapping (e.g. by ls on a file owned by an Active Directory mapped user). Using cache time = 0 it completely fails to get the mapping via wbinfo -u or wbinfo -g. (Error looking up domain users). If i set it to at least 1 winbind is able to get the mappings (strange)! The only message in the logs i've seen so far is: [2011/05/19 14:17:29.841087, 0] winbindd/winbindd.c:195(winbindd_sig_term_handler) Got sig[15] terminate (is_parent=0) 8. Try winbind offline logon = false in smb.conf and post the results of before and after cache timeout. Same as 7 - but i still try to get some effect here. 9. Post any information you can about the cache and mapping files. This could be a tbl file. The log files might give some information about this. Need some help here, what to post? 10. List whether you did a fresh install of Ubuntu or an upgrade. If it was an upgrade, what version(s) did you upgrade from? Its a fresh install of natty 11.04. 11. Did you try any other idmap backends? If so, please list which ones and what order. I believe there might be a bug on switching backends without deleting a mapping file. [Bug 483050] Re: Ubuntu 9.10 Rhythmbox will not play mp3 files stored on my Samsung MTP device
I can confirm Johns observation - checking crossfading does make play work, but not for long time. Suddenly the player does not know my samsung device anymore: [ 3553.052194] __ratelimit: 21 callbacks suppressed [ 3553.052206] hub 1-0:1.0: connect-debounce failed, port 2 disabled [ 3554.980091] hub 1-0:1.0: connect-debounce failed, port 2 disabled [ 3556.901505] hub 1-0:1.0: connect-debounce failed, port 2 disabled After reconnection the device and trying to play again rhytmbox segfaults: [ 3667.144316] rhythmbox[3677]: segfault at 74654d3b ip 01234f6b sp bffb7acc error 4 in libc-2.10.1.so[11c2000+13e000] So this is still a bug. ** Changed in: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid = Incomplete -- Ubuntu 9.10 Rhythmbox will not play mp3 files stored on my Samsung MTP device https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/483050 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
