[Bug 1730513] Re: [SRU artful] korganiser reminders do not trigger with 17.04.3

2018-04-02 Thread Travis Odom
Any chance for this to get into Artful? Reminders are extremely useful.

Was this ever going to get pulled into Artful? "Reminders don't work at
all" seems like a big thing to just sit with an available fix for 5
months now

[Bug 1177318] Re: Unattended Upgrades fail to parse "${distro_id}:${distro_codename}-security"

2017-02-24 Thread Travis Odom

  File "/usr/bin/unattended-upgrade", line 283, in get_allowed_origins_legacy
(distro_id, distro_codename) = s.split()
ValueError: need more than 0 values to unpack

It is failing to substitute `distro-id` and `distro-codename`, and so
the for loop just gets: `['', '', "-security'", "-updates'",
"-backports'"]`

Replacing the variable placeholders with the correct literal values
fixes it as a workaround.

[Bug 1267059] Re: Unattended-Upgrade::Remove-Unused-Dependencies does not work

2015-05-26 Thread Travis Odom
GhostLyrics' upstream patch has been merged (https://github.com/mvo5
/unattended-upgrades/pull/6). Anyone know how/when this might flow into
Ubuntu and/or get backported?

Right now my servers are running apt-get -y autoremove on a cron job,
but I'd love to ditch that.

[Bug 1362633] [NEW] Corrupted Mouse Cursor on primary monitor in dual-monitor KDE

2014-08-28 Thread Travis Odom
Public bug reported:

When moving the mouse from the secondary (right) monitor to primary
(left) monitor, the cursor often becomes corrupted on the primary
monitor, as seen in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-
xorg-video-ati/+bug/360724

The cursor appears corrupted thereafter, but only on the primary monitor
- it appears normal on the secondary. This does not always happen the
first time the boundary is crossed from secondary to primary, but once
it does occur, it persists until X.Org is restarted.
