[Bug 272307] Re: T500 Suspend to RAM is flaky
I found a solution here: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Install_Ubuntu_8.10_(Intrepid_Ibex)_on_a_Thinkpad_T400 in the section about Suspend/Hibernate. Apparently they found it was an issue with multiprocessor concurrency, and resolved the issue by disabling one core on suspend and enabling on resume. Have been using this fix for about 5 days without any suspend/resume problems. -- T500 Suspend to RAM is flaky https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272307 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 178629] Re: IWL3945 Fails to Recover Connection
I can confirm this on a Dell 1420N using the iwl3945 driver. -- IWL3945 Fails to Recover Connection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/178629 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 173942] Re: volume increases uncontrollably on Dell 1420n
I can confirm this problem in gutsy on a Dell 1420n using rhythmbox and amarok. I also haven't been able to pinpoint what triggers this, but also suspect an issue with suspend. This could possibly be related to the bug filed at the Dell Linux Wiki http://linux.dell.com/wiki/index.php/Ubuntu_7.10/Issues/Audio_Failure_On_Resume which references this LP filed bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/dell/+bug/146690. When you resume from suspend, do you get a notification that the volume applet crashed and have to reload? -- volume increases uncontrollably on Dell 1420n https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173942 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
