[Bug 460931] [NEW] kernel warning on suspend and fan at maximum speed on resume
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.31-14-generic When entring suspend mode the kernel prints a warning in dmesg and after resume the fan goes at maximum speed and never slows down. If the system is suspended a second time the fan goes at minimum speed and doesn't speed up at all. This behaviour repeats always and rhe only way to get things right is to reboot the machine.
